HERITAGE CHRISTMAS in the Historic Clay District
Visit the Medalta Potteries site in Medicine Hat's Historic Clay District on December 5, 2009.
Replica items from our working pottery make great Christmas gifts.
Take advantage of reduced prices in our Gift Shop or take part on our self-guided tours. Local artists will be displaying their work to the public as well. This is an excellent chance to take in this historic site which - at one time - made 75% of all stoneware in Canada. Refreshments will be provided for all visitors.

FUNDRAISER FOR:Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund Society
The Santa Claus Fund believes every child deserves to have a Merry Christmas. Our goal is to ensure those less fortunate in our community experience the joy and warmth of the holiday season. We provide low income families with a food hamper and toys for their children at Christmas. We serve children from new born to 16 years of age.
The work of the SCF does not end at Christmas. Working with the Medicine Hat Ministerial Association and the St. Vincent de Paul Society we aid needy families and individuals year round providing them with food vouchers and other forms of assistance.
Crisis assistance funding is also available to our community. Through the auspices of the Medicine Hat Newspaper we are able to fundraise for those who encounter emergency situations.
